Greetings to Our New Church Family,
Marissa and I are beyond excited that I was appointed as Pasto of Mt. Zion-Orleans Community Church. To be honest, Marissa is a little nervous as she has never served in the role of a Pastor’s wife, but I know she will do well. We want to express our gratitude to the Staff Parish Relations Committee (SPRC) members for your prayerful consideration and approval. We are especially thankful to Pastor Dick Voharr for his endorsement and prayers for the future of this Body of Christ.
The Bible teaches us in Galatians 5:22-23 the importance of growing in the fruits of the spirit. “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” It is my prayer that we will grow together in our faith and that this Body of Christ will be a beacon of hope in a world that needs Him more than ever.
